Restoration’s Safe Church Commitment

At Restoration Anglican Church, we desire to be a household where the lonely, lost, and least find people, place, and purpose in the life of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that starts with protecting the most vulnerable among us.

Restoration is a local church under the covering and leadership of the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains (DRM). As such, we have received and adopted the DRM’s Safe Church Policy as our own. Restoration’s Safe Church Policy requires that every pastor, staff member, and volunteer who works with children or vulnerable adults completes an application, background check, MinistrySafe training, and ongoing development. While every member of Restoration may not need to review this policy, we want to create a culture where everyone is empowered to know what a safe church looks like, and understands what to do when they see concerns or abuse.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Before you serve, here’s what’s required.

Everyone who serves with children, students, or vulnerable adults completes the following:

Complete the application
Read the Safe Church Policy (required annually)
Pass a background check (you will receive this from a Restoration admin)
Sign the digital ackowledgement form
Complete MinistrySafe training (you will receive this from a Restoration admin)
