Year-end giving focus | Here, Near, and Far

Keeping Warm & Well Fed

This year, our Year-End Giving Season focuses on generosity, Here, Near, and Far — all under the theme “Keeping Warm & Well Fed.”

See how your giving will bring both spiritual and physical warmth and nourishment to others.

We want to continue to provide Spiritual Warmth and Spiritual Food for our neighborhood of Stratton Meadows and the people of Colorado Springs. In order to do that, we need to invest in our physical building. While Family Life Services is currently letting us use the church building for next to nothing, we will need to purchase the building in the next couple of years if we want to remain here.

This is a huge blessing, a huge opportunity, and a huge lift for a new church plant, but we have a huge God. A third of our year-end giving will go to build our budget reserves so that we can be in the strongest financial place possible as we head into a new year and prepare for a capital campaign in 2026 to buy our building in 2027!

Warmth: Our mayor has named homelessness as one of the most urgent needs in Colorado Springs — and it’s right here in our own neighborhood.

By God’s grace, this is exactly what our partner, Family Life Services (FLS) addresses every single day. And right now, FLS is courageously pursuing a $9 million capital campaign that will increase their housing capacity from 9 to 19 families (and remember — they’re the same ministry letting us use their building nearly rent-free!). FLS has served over 1,000 of our city’s most vulnerable, and they have a 92% success rate for families remaining out of homelessness three years after graduating the program. So we are confident and joyful that a third of our Year-End Giving will be faithfully and fruitfully invested where God is already at work!

Food: District 2, where Restoration lives, has named food insecurity as THE issue this year. While we cannot solve all the problems, we are committed to seeking the good of this city right where God has placed us. So the final third of our Year-End Giving will be used to provide food to our neighborhood by partnering with local farmers and other neighborhood churches who are already running a foodbank.

Together, we can put faith into action and ensure our neighbors are both warm and well-fed.

From November 23 through December 14, Five Tribes Fair Trade (FTFT) will host a Market in our church lobby — offering fair-trade Christmas gifts that directly support Joy to the World Thailand, a ministry providing both spiritual and physical warmth and nourishment to vulnerable communities overseas.

Visit the market for:

  • Advent-themed gifts on November 23
  • Christmas and holiday gifts on December 7 and 14

By shopping at FTFT, you can give gifts that change lives — supporting artisans, sustaining families, and advancing the Gospel far beyond our city.

Together, let’s keep our neighbors — and the nations — warm and well fed, as we share the generous heart of Christ through our Year-End Giving.
